No progress lately on Cornelia, but this, my friends, is more important! Susan and I were married on October 3rd. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception with just our close friends and family. If Cornelia were running, she would have been there too, but we decided we would get a photo of us in front of Cornelia yet this fall and post it here.
In the meantime, the wedding was filled with friends that had classic cars (the theme of the wedding) - Susan's father owns a '65 Mustang and a '28 Model A, and my buddy Tim, who also served as photographer, drove down with his gorgeous red '65 Olds Cutlass (shown with Susan and I and my sons). We couldn't have asked for a better day, and we are so very thankful for such wonderful friends and family.
Things should settle down now - Woody, the F-250 we purchased for parts hauling, is getting close to being finished. The fuel rail is fixed and the brakes are good now (ahh, the luxury of having a vehicle that starts and stops!). I still need to replace the front fuel pump (which turned out to be weak), the rear springs, and the oil pan, which is pretty rusty. BUT - it runs and drives really well off the rear tank for now :-)
Also, we've given up on the idea of siding the garage yet this year and plan to just get some siding on the house to patch the spot where the old single-car garage was. I also need to hook up my propane heater, and then we'll be able to finally get to work on the International! We're getting closer!
